About LLVIPS

Lino Lakes Volunteers in Public Safety (LLVIPS) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the volunteer programs and public safety professionals who help keep the community safe. Founded in 2011, LLVIPS was established to provide financial support for volunteer initiatives that strengthen Lino Lakes public safety, including the Police Reserve Unit, Explorer Post, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Fire, Police, and other community-based public safety programs.

Our mission is simple: to enhance public safety through community involvement. Every donation, sponsorship, and fundraising event helps provide equipment, training, educational opportunities, and resources that may not otherwise be available through traditional funding. By investing in our volunteers and first responders, we help ensure they have the tools and resources they need to best serve our community.

Over the years, LLVIPS has grown beyond supporting local volunteer programs to becoming a driving force behind community events that bring residents and first responders together. From family-friendly fundraisers and community outreach programs to hosting the annual Guns-N-Hoses Charity Hockey Classic, our events not only raise funds but also strengthen the relationships between those who serve and the community they protect. Today, proceeds from our fundraising efforts continue to support public safety initiatives while also benefiting organizations that care for the physical and mental well-being of first responders throughout Minnesota.

At LLVIPS, we believe that safe and strong communities are built through service, partnership, and volunteerism. Whether you choose to donate, sponsor, volunteer your time, or simply attend one of our community gatherings, your support directly impacts the safety and well-being of our neighbors. Together, we are helping build a safer, stronger Lino Lakes—one volunteer, one event, and one act of service at a time.
